The reigning X Factor champion Alexandra Burke finally unleashes her highly anticipated brand new single 'Bad Boys', released on 12th October via Syco/Sony Music.
Since winning The X Factor in December 2008, 21 year old Alexandra Burke has faced a colossal challenge; a challenge to create a song worthy of the millions who crowned her victor of the biggest TV show in the country, as well as to uncover a vibe befitting of her own personal style. Now, eight months later, Alex has undoubtedly delivered the pop single of the year.
'Bad Boys' produced by the The Phantom Boyz, is a glorious example of sheer pop prowess, bound to have pop aficionados in rapture. Alongside Alex, the song features US superstar rapper, Flo Rida who has himself enjoyed a No.1 single this year, as well as performing collaborations with Nelly Furtado, Ne-Yo and Akon.
Those who have been treated to a sneak preview of the track are already hailing Alex as the world's next music superstar, with Gordon Smart from The Sun calling the single 'A surefire No.1' and Popjustice.com branding it 'phenomenal.'
Not content with producing one pop masterpiece, Alex has also assembled an albums worth of tracks fit to dominate the charts for the next year, executive produced by Roc Nation's Jay Z and Jay Brown. Recording across the globe with such luminaries as Red One, Stargate, The Phantom Boyz and The Freemasons, Alex will release her debut album in late October.
Alexandra Burke has had a sensational eight months since being crowned The X Factor champion in December 2008. Her debut single release, 'Hallelujah', became the Christmas No.1 and the fastest selling single by a female artist in UK chart history. The song also broke another record by becoming the fastest selling download single across Europe, selling more downloads in two days than the previous record holder sold in a week.
In February 2009 Alexandra headlined the massive X Factor Live tour, playing to sell out Arenas across the UK, winning huge critical acclaim for her impressive live performances along the way.
